Видеокарта: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 4GB or AMD Radeon RX 470 4GB You still end up replacing and adding DLLs, but someone needs to put in the legwork to actually compile those DLLs in the beginning.Год выпуска: 10 фев. TLDR It IS possible to update FSR2 in a game, it just takes a hell of a lot more work (at least for one person, once they've done it it's just as simple as copying in the files) than DLSS where you just replace the DLSS DLL with the new one and you're done. There is an issue, as some games require specific headers to be included, and while it is possible to recreate those, it takes some work. With regards to updating FSR 2, it has been done before on a wide variety of games (and HL is actually on the compatibility list as an unknown for Intel and Nvidia, and a negative for AMD.) by the project CyberFSR2 which essentially (as I understand it anyway, I may be off-base) recompiles Streamline (to be specific, nvngx.dll) for the game with the newer dependencies, notably the updated versions of FSR 2.x. Side note: I find it incredibly amusing that they put AMD as "Hardware Vendor #3" while naming Intel and XeSS in their diagram. This framework allows developers to easily implement one single integration and enable multiple super-resolution technologies and other graphics effects supported by the hardware vendor. Streamline is an open-sourced cross-IHV solution that simplifies integration of the latest NVIDIA and other independent hardware vendors’ super resolution technologies into applications and games. Essentially, FSR 2.x is implemented into an open source project spearheaded by Nvidia called Streamline, which, to let Nvidia describe it: It can be done, and it does not require the game's source. That goes for every non open-source game with FSR integrated.
